The PSA carbon monoxide separation system is applicable for separating carbon monoxide from gas mixture such as natural gas, synthesis gas, water gas, semi-water gas, and tail gas from steel works, calcium carbide plants, and yellow phosphorus plants, to name just a few.
As one of the most important chemical, the carbon monoxide obtained can be used for making acetic acid, acetic anhydride, oxalate, ethylene glycol, oxalic acid, dimethyl formamide, dimethyl carbonate, formic acid, phosgene synthesis (TDI, MDI), and so on.
The carbon monoxide separation system is manufactured with international emerging technology---Pressure Swing Adsorption. The carbon monoxide separator, together with the newly developed PU-1 sorbent with better carbon monoxide selecting and adsorbing performance, has solved the problem encountered by common gas separating equipment during adsorbing carbon monoxide from mixed gas containing nitrogen or methane. The PU-1 sorbent will help user to obtain high purity carbon monoxide, easily and efficiently.
